Charles Macek Charles' executive career included more than thirty years investment management and capital markets experience. During 1982-1984 Charles was Director and 1984-1985 Managing Director at Wardley Investment Management Ltd. He was the founding Managing Director of County Investment Management Ltd in 1985 and Chairman from 1995-2001. During 1990-1997 he was also Managing Director of Dai-ichi Life County NatWest Investment Management Ltd. (a Tokyo based joint venture between Dai-Ichi Life and NatWest Bank) and was a Director of County NatWest Australia Ltd. (subsequently renamed Natwest Markets Ltd.) from 1992-1997 Former Board roles include: Wesfarmers Ltd., Victorian Superannuation Board, Emergency Services Superannuation Scheme; VicSuper Pty Ltd; County NatWest Investment Management Japan Ltd; National Australia Financial Management Ltd; Living Cell Technologies Ltd.; Richmond Football Club; Chairman, IOOF Ltd; Victorian Councillor, Securities Institute of Australia; Chairman Australian Investment Manager's Association (AIMA); and Member: Victorian Council of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He was a director Telstra Corporation 2001-09 where he also chaired the Remuneration Committee. He was a member of the New Zealand Accounting Standards Review Board. Also Chaired, Strategic Review Taskforce, Securities Institute of Australia. Mark Bytheway Prior to rejoining the funds management industry two years ago and following environmental studies, Mark spent three years consulting in the areas of environmental risk analysis, environmental liability evaluation and resource valuation, initially independently and more latterly with several development banks and finally with a large international consulting group. Outside of work, Mark is kept busy with his wife raising their four children, Isabel, Oliver, Charlotte and Henry. When time permits they reflect on all the things they did prior to the children. |
